[Sports Today reporter Lee Sang-pil] The roster for OGFC, a legends side assembled from Premier League greats, has taken shape — and it's sending waves through the soccer world.

Following earlier announcements of Park Ji-sung, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra and Ryan Giggs, OGFC has added Dimitar Berbatov, Louis Saha, twin full-backs Rafael and Fabio da Silva, and Nemanja Vidić to its ranks.

Berbatov, the Premier League Golden Boot winner in 2010–11, is celebrated for his silky touch and instinctive finishing. Saha, known for explosive pace and a clinical edge in front of goal, is listed among the signings as well. With Rafael and Fabio bolstering the flanks and Vidić joining Ferdinand to recreate a feared defensive core, OGFC now stacks iconic names across both ends of the pitch.

Created by football content and events producer ShootforLove, OGFC is a new independent club built around those Premier League legends. The team has set an ambitious target: surpass a combined career-high win rate of 73%. ShootforLove says the club will disband if it fails to meet that benchmark.

The name OGFC — proposed by Ferdinand — reflects the squad’s intent. \"OG\" stands for \"The Originals,\" a term used to honor figures who have long defined their field. The concept: bring the original legends back together to showcase their undimmed passion for the game and a renewed drive to win.

OGFC's inaugural match is set for April 19 at Suwon World Cup Stadium. They will take on a Suwon Samsung Bluewings legends team led by Seo Jung-won and Jo Won-hee, marking the club’s first step toward the 73% win-rate challenge. The match will be contested over the full 90 minutes.

ShootforLove stresses that OGFC is not a one-off nostalgia act but a squad formed for a fresh competitive challenge. After Suwon, the club plans to take the project global and face various legends sides around the world.

Roster and ticket information for both OGFC and the Suwon Samsung legends team will be released through ShootforLove and Suwon Samsung Bluewings' official social media channels.
