Launched in 2015, the KLPGA Kidz Golf Camp runs a variety of programs aimed at sparking youth interest in golf. Emphasizing hands-on, enjoyable experiences, the camp earned high marks in last year’s satisfaction survey, with 99.1% of participants saying they would attend again.
This year’s camp will return to tournament venues and offer a lively mix of activities, including on-course gallery experiences and hands-on golf activities, an etiquette board workshop, and the Golf Golden Bell quiz.
To broaden the youth golf base and help popularize the sport, KLPGA will operate the Kidz Golf Camp across eight regions nationwide in ten sessions. Each session will admit the first 30 registrants, allowing up to 300 junior golfers to participate.
In addition, KLPGA continues efforts to discover young talent and expand youth participation through events such as the Mediheal KLPGA Chairman’s Women’s Amateur Golf Championship and the KLPGA–Samchully Together Dream Tree Tournament, as well as youth mentoring programs and initiatives to improve the junior golf environment.
