'Single's Inferno 5' cast member Kim Min-ji reunited with Song Seung-il.
On April 2, Kim Min-ji uploaded a video to her channel titled "What Are We? Kim Min-ji and Song Seung-il Reunited," documenting a day they spent together.
That day included a photo shoot, a meal of malatang (spicy Sichuan-style hotpot), and a tarot reading focused on their romantic prospects. During the photo session they pressed their faces close and leaned shoulders together, striking intimate poses that attracted attention. They even recreated a pose that went viral on 'Single's Inferno 5,' reminiscing about the moment.
At the tarot reading, the reader predicted their love fortunes and teased, "You two work well together as a business couple," setting a playful tone. Kim Min-ji kept things lighthearted, joking, "Wanna make some money?"
They also traded behind-the-scenes stories from 'Single's Inferno 5.' Song Seung-il admitted that if he'd approached Kim Min-ji sooner, he probably would have said the wrong thing. Kim Min-ji replied that such a move would have changed the outcome, expressing some regret. Song Seung-il called her "someone I'm grateful to for looking out for me even while we were in Inferno," underscoring the friendship and trust they'd developed.
Meanwhile, the Kim Min-ji–Song Seung-il pairing that drew attention on 'Single's Inferno 5' did form a final couple on the show, but they later revealed on the 'Single's Inferno Reunion' that they did not become a real-life couple.
