Director-producer Park Cheol-hwan, who followed Heart Signal by successfully launching Heart Pairing last year, earned a win at the 2025 Fundex Awards in the TV Season/Mini Variety category.
Park's nuanced directorial touch across the 'Heart' franchise has raised expectations for Heart Signal 5, his first season in three years. The celebrity prediction panel reunites originals Yoon Jong-shin, Lee Sang-min and Kim Eana and adds newcomers Roy Kim and Tsuki, promising fresh chemistry.
The original panel will draw on viewer data accumulated over past seasons to deliver the dependable deductions fans expect. Newcomer Roy Kim, a singer-songwriter beloved nationwide for songs that spark romantic interest, is expected to make a strong impression in the guessing.
