[SPOTV News — Reporter Heo Na-won] Girls' Generation members Hyoyeon, Yuri and Sooyoung have formed a unit called Hyori-su and launched a debut project.
On the 30th, Hyoyeon announced on her personal YouTube channel that Hyori-su has begun full-scale preparations for its debut.
She posted, "The first episode of the 'Fake Kim Hyoyeon' Hyori-su debut project will be released this Saturday at 11 a.m."
She also unveiled individual posters for the three, writing, "'Hy' Party's Kim Hyoyeon, 'Ri' Party's Kwon Yuri, 'Su' Party's Choi Sooyoung" and saying the results of the main-vocal vote — a competition the groups staked their pride on — would be revealed.
The posters capture Hyoyeon, Yuri and Sooyoung during the main-vocal showdown and drew attention for their campaign-style design.
Online fans responded with comments such as "I'm excited" and "Are they really putting out a unit album?", signaling rising interest in Hyori-su's next moves.
Hyori-su was formed on Hyoyeon's YouTube segment "Fake Kim Hyoyeon." The main-vocal showdown video released in February has racked up 3.83 million views, and the trio is slated to appear on tvN's You Quiz on the Block on the 6th of next month.
