The Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) announced it will hold the Asia-Pacific Golf Summit 2026 at the KLPGA Suite Lounge inside the Amata Spring Country Club in Chonburi, Thailand — the site of the 2026 season opener, the Rejuran Championship. The two-day summit begins on the 11th.

The Asia-Pacific Golf Summit is the first official forum aimed at shaping joint growth strategies for women’s golf across Asia and formalizing cooperation frameworks. The KLPGA expects the summit to build direct networks among Asian women’s golf associations, lay the groundwork for co-hosted events and programs, and establish a platform for regional collaboration.

As the KLPGA’s first forum of its kind, the Asia-Pacific Golf Summit 2026 will bring together officials from major Asian women’s golf associations — including China, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam — along with sports and government representatives from each country.

On day one, participants will share updates on tour operations and common challenges. Agenda items include expanding co-sanctioned events between tours, developing an integrated Asia ranking system, creating youth development and training-camp cooperation models, and increasing player exchanges and cross-entry opportunities. On day two, attendees will attend the KLPGA Tour season opener, the Rejuran Championship.

KLPGA Chairman Kim Sang-yeol said, "We are delighted to host the Asia-Pacific Golf Summit 2026, which we see as a starting point for greater cooperation in Asian women's golf. We hope this summit helps associations across the region build a sustainable cooperative ecosystem. Going forward, we will hold these summits regularly and do our best to ensure the KLPGA serves as a hub for women’s golf in Asia."
