Anyang defeated Ulsan Hyundai Mobis 95-71 on April 4 at Anyang Jeonggwanjang Arena in an LG Electronics 2025-2026 Pro Basketball regular-season home game.
The win improved Anyang to 34-18, extending their lead over Seoul SK (31-20) to 2.5 games and solidifying the No. 2 spot in the standings.
Hyundai Mobis, now on a five-game skid, dropped to 17-35 and remained in eighth place.
Anyang got balanced scoring from Bryce Washington (14 points), Park Ji-hoon (13) and Johnny O'Bryant (12) to pull away for the win.
For Hyundai Mobis, Rayshawn Hammonds produced 19 points and 11 rebounds while Jung Jun-won added 17, but their efforts weren’t enough.
Anyang set the tone early. Kim Jong-kyu and Park Ji-hoon opened the scoring, and after Park hit from both inside and out he continued to draw free throws and extended the lead.
Hyundai Mobis responded with efforts from Seo Myung-jin and Hammonds, but Anyang closed the first quarter on a 3-pointer by Jeon Seong-hyun and led 20-11.
Anyang carried the momentum into the second quarter. Washington and Jeon Seong-hyun scored in succession; although Hyundai Mobis hit outside shots from Seo Myung-jin and Lee Seung-hyun, contributions from Park Ji-hoon, Han Seung-hee and Moon Yu-hyeon helped Anyang keep control.
Over a two-minute stretch in the second, Anyang poured in 10 points from inside and out. Hyundai Mobis got scoring from Jung Jun-won, but Anyang led 46-28 at halftime.
The third quarter followed a similar pattern. Anyang maintained its lead as O'Bryant drew fouls in the paint and also hit a 3, while Hyundai Mobis answered with outside shots from Jung Jun-won and Hammonds.
Anyang’s inside game, led by O'Bryant and Kim Jong-kyu, kept the margin intact and they entered the fourth up 73-52.
There was no late rally. Anyang put the game away early in the fourth as Kim Kyung-won and Washington hit consecutive 3s, and Hyundai Mobis emptied its bench and effectively conceded the contest.
Meanwhile, Wonju DB edged Seoul Samsung 80-75 in a close matchup.
The victory moved DB to 32-21 and kept them in the fight for third place. Samsung fell to 15-37 and stayed 10th.
Henry Ellenson exploded for 28 points to lead DB to the win.
Samsung’s Kerem Kanter battled with a 21-point, 16-rebound outing, but it wasn’t enough to secure a victory.
