The tournament took place in Iksan, North Jeolla Province, and ran nine days from March 21 at Wonkwang University Gymnasium, Jeonbuk Jeil High School Gymnasium and Iksan Indoor Gymnasium. A total of 82 teams competed across divisions from elementary school through college and the newly added College Division II.
In the elementary division, Jincheon Sangsan Elementary (boys) and Gwangju Hyodong Elementary (girls) captured the titles. Gwangju Hyodong claimed its first championship since the program’s founding, while Jincheon Sangsan returned to the top after a two-year gap.
In middle school action, Uijeongbu Girls’ Middle School defeated Se-yeon Middle School 18-16 to secure its first title in 33 years, denying Se-yeon a third straight crown. Namhan Middle School edged Iri Middle School 27-25 to win its first championship in seven years.
At the high school level, Cheonan Sindang High School downed Daejeon Daesung High School 34-32 to lift its first national title. In the girls’ bracket, Incheon Business High School held off Ilsin Girls’ High School 23-22 to complete a three-peat and reinforce its status as the top program in the division.
In college competition, Kyung Hee University’s men’s team beat Wonkwang University 32-27 to claim the championship, while Korea National Sport University took the women’s college title.
For the first time, College Division II teams competed in the event. Kyungpook National University (men) and Seoul National University (women) emerged as the inaugural champions in that category.
The tournament MVPs were: Elementary — Kim Maksim (Jincheon Sangsan Elementary, boys) and Lee Eun-song (Gwangju Hyodong Elementary, girls); Middle School — Lee Do-hoon (Namhan Middle School, boys) and Hwang Jung-eum (Uijeongbu Girls’ Middle School, girls); High School — Kim Kang-seo (Cheonan Sindang High School, boys) and Cho Min-jin (Incheon Business High School, girls); College — Lee Jun-seung (Kyung Hee University, men) and Kim Song-won (Korea National Sport University, women); College Division II — Jeon Jae-woo (Kyungpook National University, men) and Jung Jin-seo (Seoul National University, women). The tournament concluded with these honors.
