[SPOTV News — Gwangju, Reporter Kwak Hye-mi] The semifinal between Daegu Namdo Elementary and Seoul Gadong Elementary in the 3rd Presidential Cup National Youth Baseball Tournament was played the morning of May 14 at Mudeung Baseball Stadium in Gwangju.
In the top of the first inning, Seoul Gadong starter Kim Geon delivered a strong outing.
The Korea Baseball Softball Association (KBSA), chaired by president Yang Hae-young, hosted the 3rd Presidential Cup with the Gwangju Metropolitan City Baseball Softball Association as co-organizer. The tournament kicked off on May 5 at Mudeung Baseball Stadium.
The 11-day event runs through May 15. Champion-level teams from elementary schools and youth clubs nationwide, based on last year’s results, have converged to compete for the national youth baseball crown.
