Free Transportation for the Disabled: Celebrating the 46th Disability Day in Uiwang

Uiwang Urban Corporation in Gyeonggi Province will provide special transportation services free of charge on the 20th in observance of the 46th Disability Day, aiming to improve mobility for transportation-disadvantaged residents. 
 
According to the corporation, it will operate 14 special-transport vehicles free of charge for the day.

Eligible users are Uiwang residents who are registered with the Gyeonggi Province Regional Mobility Support Center.

The free service will cover the base fare as well as any additional charges for trips exceeding 10 km (about 6.2 miles) and tolls.
 
Meanwhile, Noh Seong-hwa, the corporation’s president, said, “We are honored to provide practical mobility support to people with disabilities on Disability Day,” and added, “We will continue to expand tailored transportation services that reflect feedback from the field.”
