On May 11, the Uiwang City Volunteer Center said it hosted a cultural tour of Jeju Island for outstanding volunteers, an event named in the Jeju dialect that means "Volunteers, you worked very hard."

The center said the tour was organized to boost morale among volunteers who logged more than 200 hours over the past year and who had volunteered continuously for at least two years. Organizers also aimed to strengthen volunteer networks and underscore the value of volunteer service.

Participants visited major Jeju sites including Boreumwat, the Dolmen Culture Museum, Eco Land, and Camellia Hill. They also climbed Saebyeol Oreum and took a yacht trip, activities that helped them unwind and forge stronger bonds with one another.

An Jong-seo, director of the Uiwang City Volunteer Center, said, "I extend my deep respect and gratitude to the volunteers who have brought warmth to communities across our city. I hope this trip provided them with a meaningful rest and renewed energy."

He added, "We will continue to support efforts to create an environment where volunteers can serve with pride."
