As spring settles in and April ushers in the peak season for outdoor sports, Lotte Active Week runs April 3–19 across all Lotte Department Store locations, outlets and malls.
With outdoor activity picking up, the event will spotlight popular pursuits like running and hiking and roll out a broad lineup of shopping offers.
Sports and outdoor brands are teaming up to offer a range of discounts. At department stores, National Geographic, Kolon Sports and ABC Mart will run brand-week promotions with discounts up to 20%, and spring–summer new arrivals will be available at a 10% introductory discount. At outlets and malls, Nike, New Balance and NEPA will layer up to an extra 30% off on top of existing outlet markdowns.
To celebrate the start of the professional baseball regular season, Lotte is staging an in-person attendance promotion. From April 3–12, customers who enter the \"Giants In-Person Event\" on the Lotte Department Store app’s Lotte Active Week page will be entered into a lottery to win Lotte Giants game tickets and season passes.
A running pop-up is also part of the lineup. From April 10–19, Lotte World Mall’s first floor in Jamsil will host a Running Boot Camp pop-up aimed at beginner runners. Major running names—from fashion labels like Oakley, Merrell and Descente to gear makers such as Garmin and Shox—will showcase products suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Customers who spend 500,000 KRW (about $375) or more in a single day at the pop-up will, on a first-come, first-served basis, receive this year’s participation pass and kit for Style Run, the running festival that sold out in five hours last year.
The event will also offer substantial purchase incentives. Shoppers who spend 200,000 KRW (about $150) or more at sports and athleisure brands can claim a 10,000 KRW (about $7.50) discount coupon; the coupon is issued on a first-come, first-served basis via the Lotte Department Store app every Friday. On weekends (Apr. 3–5, 10–12, 17–19), sports and athleisure brands will also award additional Lotte gift certificates worth 5–15% of the purchase amount.
Meanwhile, Lotte Department Store Mall will continue a slate of sports promotions. Nike, Kolon Sports and other labels will offer discounts up to 70% and provide extra coupons worth up to 11% from April 2–11. The mall will also run curated sales for popular running gear—featuring Garmin, Oakley and Suunto—and stage a Top Buyer event that awards prizes to the customers with the highest purchase totals.
