Comedian Park Soo-hong’s daughter Jae-yi turned heads with her doll-like features.
On March 16, the YouTube channel 'Park Soo-hong Happy Dahong' uploaded a video titled '(Jae-yi VLOG) I Got an Aunt! Aunt Kim Sook — 17-month-old’s First Camping Trip.'
That day, Park was preparing for his 17-month-old daughter Jae-yi’s first camping trip. He said buying items that go into his child’s mouth and the clothes she wears gives him a deep sense of satisfaction, adding that shopping for baby gear makes him happy — a clear display of his doting side as a father.
At the campsite, Park met fellow comedian Kim Sook. On seeing Jae-yi, Kim Sook repeatedly gushed that the baby looks just like her mother and is “so cute.”
Inside the tent, the toddler explored the unfamiliar space with obvious curiosity. She poked around the sleeping bag and tent, clearly delighted, and the family marked the occasion as her first tent moment.
Park had brought the meat himself to set the camping mood. Kim Sook joked that camping is all about the meat — it’s just that it’s too pricey to enjoy often. Jae-yi sampled a range of dishes, from grilled meat to Kim Sook’s squid ceviche; notably, she tried squid for the first time and ate it without hesitation, drawing smiles from those around her.
Kim Sook beamed, asking, “Are you eating well?” She grilled food for Jae-yi and fully embraced her role as aunt, joining in childcare by playing with toys and stickers.
With stickers plastered all over her glasses, Kim Sook playfully lamented how much effort it takes to entertain a toddler. Park laughed and replied, “Of course — she’s the only one,” gently teasing Kim Sook’s inexperience with childcare.
Actor Lim Hyung-joon also stopped by. Looking at Jae-yi, he marveled that she looked like a doll, noting her double eyelids, long lashes and even dimples.
Jae-yi soon snuggled into Kim Sook’s arms and smiled. Park said he was pleased that Jae-yi had completely warmed up to “Aunt Sook.” At one point, the toddler even mimicked the word “aunt” while looking at Kim Sook, a moment that charmed everyone.
Meanwhile, Park’s daughter has already been tapped as the face of her 18th advertising campaign, making early strides in the commercial world. Park registered his marriage to Kim Da-ye — who is 23 years his junior — in 2021, and the couple welcomed Jae-yi in 2024.
