TV personality Heo Kyung-hwan has officially joined the regular cast of MBC's Hangout with Yoo?.
The March 14 episode marked his return as a full-time member after a three-month absence.
Heo made a showy entrance in a tuxedo, immediately drawing the cast's attention. \"I'm officially a regular. Those three months felt like a long time,\" he said, clearly pleased.
Castmates teased his look, asking, \"Is this an awards ceremony?\" Heo shrugged it off, offered an exaggerated bow to viewers and added, \"It's a great day. Thank you.\"
Host Yoo Jae-suk noted, \"In any case, Kyung-hwan has naturally become part of the cast. Viewers had been asking why he hadn't been made a regular sooner.\" Fellow member Haha agreed, calling him \"a regular made by the viewers.\"
Heo joked that his mother asked whether she had to pay 60,000 KRW (about $45) for his meals to secure his spot, and pointed out that he became a regular the day after that money was spent. He balled his fist as if to declare his ambition, then deadpanned, \"Only laughter!\" and fell silent, prompting laughter from the room.
Haha added, \"At dinner he told us to trust him. He promised that, now that he's a regular, he'd go all out without pressure — and this is what we get,\" which drew more laughs.
