The Doosan Bears have scheduled a ceremonial first pitch for the 8th at Jamsil Baseball Stadium ahead of their regular-season matchup with the Kiwoom Heroes.
The ceremony will feature Lim Ri-won, the youngest member of South Korea's speed-skating squad who competed at the 2026 Milan–Cortina d'Ampezzo Winter Olympics in February. A longtime Doosan Bears fan, Lim had even listed throwing a first pitch for the team on her personal bucket list.
Lim said, \"I'm thrilled to stand on the mound I've dreamed about. I hope to give the Bears a burst of winning energy to help them perform well this 2026 season.\"
