[Sports Today reporter Kang Taegu] Son Heung-min (LAFC) will start for LAFC in their match against St. Louis.

LAFC will face St. Louis on March 15 (KST) at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles in Round 4 of the 2026 MLS season.

LAFC has won three straight matches to start the season and will look to make it four.

Ahead of kickoff, LAFC released its starting XI.

Denis Bouanga, Nathan Ordaz and David Martinez will lead the attack, with Mark Delgado, Son Heung-min and Mathieu Choiniere operating in midfield.

Eddie Segura, Nkosi Tafari, Ryan Fortius and Ryan Raposo round out the back line, while Hugo Lloris will start in goal.

Son will be searching for his first non-penalty goal of the season in this match.

He has one goal and seven assists in six official appearances so far, but his lone goal came from the penalty spot — he has yet to score from open play.

Meanwhile, Jung Sang-bin, who plays for St. Louis, will begin the game on the bench.

The pair last met in the first Korean derby on Sept. 28 of last year at St. Louis’s home stadium, Energizer Park.

Son started up front that day and scored twice in a 3-0 rout, while Jung Sang-bin watched from the bench.
