The sessions took place March 7-8 at the Berlin Hall on the fourth floor of the Seoul Olympic Parktel in Songpa District, Seoul.
Day one opened with the presentation of appointment certificates and featured modules on mindset and mental training; operational regulations and the KGA ranking system; media training; sports human-rights education; anti-doping; the rules of golf; and a session titled "Athletes Who Keep Shining Because They're Happy."
From 3:10 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., the program reserved 1 hour and 20 minutes for a conversation between current players and national-team veterans. Seven-time major champion Inbee Park took part in that session.
Park, who has 21 LPGA wins including seven majors and captured Olympic gold at Rio 2016, now represents the KGA on the International Golf Federation (IGF) board and its executive committee.
Addressing the younger players, Park warned against complacency. "Before I turned pro I thought I could beat anyone," she said. "On the pro tour I learned the best players in the world are all gathered there. Confidence is important, but you can't let it become arrogance. You might be the best here, but that doesn't guarantee you're the best everywhere."
She also urged them not to fear failure. "Give everything you've got. Challenge yourself and learn from the losses. Keep trying new things until you run out of things you want to do," she said.
Day two focused on golf training; a biomechanical approach to the swing; substance misuse and intake; self-directed injury care; and guidance on putter fitting and selection.
The KGA used its ranking system to select the 2026 squad. The national team includes six men and six women, while the national reserve squad includes 10 men and 10 women.
The men's national team members are Kang Seung-gu (2nd year, Namseong High School), Kim Min-su (3rd year, Howon High School Affiliated Broadcasting and Correspondence High School), Park Geon-ung (1st year, Korea National Sport University), Son Jae-i (1st year, Dongnae High School Affiliated Broadcasting and Correspondence High School), An Hae-cheon (2nd year, Korea National Sport University), and Yoo Min-hyeok (3rd year, Seogang High School).
The women's national team members are Gu Min-ji (1st year, Korea National Sport University), Kim Gyu-bin (2nd year, Haksan Girls' High School), Park Seo-jin (3rd year, Seomun Girls' High School), Yang Yoon-seo (3rd year, Incheon Girls' High School Affiliated Broadcasting and Correspondence High School), Oh Su-min (3rd year, Shinseong High School), and Yoon Gyu-ri (1st year, Haksan Girls' High School).
The season opens next month with the four-day 4th Imsil Cheese Cup Amateur Golf Championship, scheduled for the 7th–10th at Jeonju Shangri-La Country Club in Imsil County, North Jeolla Province.
