[Sports Today reporter Lee Sang-pil] KT Wiz beat the Doosan Bears 7-3 in the final exhibition game of the 2026 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League on March 24 at Suwon’s KT Wiz Park.

KT closed out the exhibition slate with a 5-2-5 record (wins-ties-losses), finishing with a .500 winning percentage. Doosan dropped the finale but still finished second in the exhibition standings at 7-1-4.

Oh Yun-seok and Han Seung-taek homered to power KT’s offense. Starter Boshiri delivered a strong outing, going six innings, allowing five hits, striking out three and yielding one run to pick up the win.

Doosan struggled as starter Jack Log surrendered nine hits, struck out six and allowed seven runs over five innings, and the lineup couldn’t mount enough offense to keep pace.

Doosan struck first in the top of the 1st. Park Chan-ho and Jeong Su-bin opened with back-to-back singles, creating a 1-out, runners at first-and-third opportunity, and Cameron’s infield grounder brought Park home for a 1-0 lead.

The lead was short-lived. In the bottom of the 2nd, with two outs and a runner on second, Han Seung-taek hit a two-run homer over the left-field wall to put KT ahead 2-1.

KT extended the lead in the bottom of the 4th. After two outs, Kim Sang-su singled and Oh Yun-seok followed with a two-run blast to make it 4-1. In the bottom of the 5th, Bae Jeong-dae tripled to set the stage, and Huh Kyung-min’s RBI double, Ahn Hyeon-min’s two-run triple and Lee Jung-hoon’s RBI single pushed the margin to 7-1.

After Boshiri worked through the 6th, KT turned to the bullpen in the 7th. Doosan managed to chase a run in the top of the 8th when Jeong Su-bin’s hit and Kim Min-seok’s double produced a run. In the top of the 9th, Park Joon-soon hit a solo homer, but it wasn’t enough as KT held on for a 7-3 victory.
