[iNews24 reporter Lee Chang-jae] Daegu’s Dong-gu Office is launching new programs to provide day-to-day support for vulnerable residents as it implements an integrated care policy.

On the 19th, the Dong-gu Office announced three new programs under the \"Haengbok Dong-gu Hope DREAM\" initiative: a home organization and storage support program, a caregiver cost-assistance program for seniors, and a secure-transport taxi care program.

The programs are designed to ease daily hardships for residents who need care—such as seniors and people with disabilities—and to close gaps in existing care services.

The home organization and storage support program aims to improve living environments and create safer, more comfortable homes. The caregiver cost-assistance program seeks to ease the financial burden on families and improve access to medical and caregiving services.

The secure-transport taxi care program focuses on residents with limited mobility, helping reduce barriers to hospital visits and everyday activities.

The Dong-gu Office said that as the integrated care rollout diversifies local care needs, it will expand practical, community-based support that residents can feel in their daily lives.

Acting Dong-gu Mayor Kim Tae-woon said, \"We will continue to identify and support the care services residents truly need,\" and added, \"We will build a more tightly knit local care system.\"
