The Gwangju-Jeolla-Jeju Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS), led by Director Lee Young-hee, visited the Gwangju Park Senior Welfare Center in Gudong, Nam-gu, Gwangju, on Thursday, May 7, to carry out community service activities in observance of Parents' Day.

At the event, staff presented carnations to seniors who use the center and distributed 400 meal packages in a meaningful gesture of sharing.

The meal packages contained ready-to-eat meals and grocery items intended to support healthy diets among the elderly. The packages were prepared to share warmth with local seniors and to put the spirit of giving into practice for Parents' Day.

Director Lee Young-hee said, \"We are deeply honored to express our respect and gratitude to the seniors on Parents' Day. We will continue to lead efforts to expand a warm culture of giving by carrying out a variety of community-based service activities.\"

Meanwhile, the NHIS Gwangju-Jeolla-Jeju Regional Headquarters continues to pursue ESG-based community programs, including support for vulnerable populations, resource recycling, and community-linked volunteer activities.
