On the 11th, her YouTube channel This Is Ahn Sun-young uploaded a video titled \"Actions You Must Take If You’re Easily Hurt and Swayed by Others.\"
In the video, Ahn looked back on the years she spent pushing herself to succeed. \"I told myself I couldn't rest and kept driving myself until I burned out and collapsed,\" she said.
She added that freeing herself from a people-pleasing complex has made her much happier recently. \"I don't care if I get hate on YouTube — I only read the positive comments,\" she told viewers.
Ahn said she mostly watched long-form videos and hadn't noticed short-form reactions. \"I only saw the positive comments, so I thought people liked me. But my YouTube producer told me to check the short-form comments. When I did, it was chaos. People joked I'd live to 120 — there was so much trash-talking,\" she laughed.
She went on to say that a lot of hate often means the algorithm picked the video up. \"In the past, I would have been too scared of those hundred commenters to speak honestly. After analyzing it, I realized that wasn't the case. Don't get swept up by groups who pose as friends but aim to drag you down,\" she said, speaking with resolve.
Meanwhile, Ahn uses her YouTube channel to share daily life and speak candidly about her experiences. She drew controversy on the 4th when she commented, \"A house, a car and a woman have something in common: as they age, maintenance costs go up, and no matter how much you clean them, they look unattractive until you make repairs.\"
