[Sports Seoul | Reporter Yoon Dong-eon] Jaehyun, a member of the K-pop group NCT, is set to return to fans after completing his military service.
He will be discharged on the 3rd after serving with the Army band. Enlisting in November 2024, he served for about 18 months and became the second NCT member to complete mandatory service, following Taeyong.
Before enlisting, Jaehyun remained active in both music and film. His debut solo album, J, drew praise from fans and general listeners, and he made his screen debut in the movie You Will Die in 6 Hours.
He also held a solo fan concert titled MUTE to spend his final moments with fans before enlisting.
Having shown himself to be an all‑round performer as both singer and actor, fans are closely watching his post-discharge plans. Many expect him to return to NCT activities and resume solo music and acting projects. hellboy321@sportsseoul.com
