[CBC News] Voting is underway for the 2026 Netizen Awards' Neo Star singer award, and Min Su-hyun has surged past the 10,000-vote mark to take the lead.
As of 6:40 p.m. on April 21, Min Su-hyun had collected 11,950 votes, representing 36.5% of the total. She has maintained steady gains since voting opened, recently breaking the 10,000-vote threshold and underscoring strong, sustained fan support.
Trailing Min Su-hyun, Kim Ji-hoon sits in second with 5,446 votes (16.6%), while Jin-wook holds third with 3,471 votes (10.6%). Kim Jung-yeon and Austin Kim rank among the top contenders with 2,683 votes (8.2%) and 2,001 votes (6.1%), respectively.
In the mid ranks, Yoo Chae-hoon has 1,407 votes (4.3%), followed by Kim Yong-bin with 1,098 votes (3.4%) and Nam Seung-min with 1,039 votes (3.2%). Lee Solomon and Lee So-na also sit inside the top 10 with 873 and 834 votes, respectively.
Other artists — including Cho Min-gyu, Cheon Rok-dam and Playb's Eun-ho — remain in the standings and continue to mobilize fans. With Min Su-hyun currently leading by more than 10,000 votes, observers are watching to see whether the rankings shift during the remainder of the voting period.
