On April 5, the couple—married for 10 months—appeared on SBS's hit variety show My Ugly Duckling (Miwoosae).
On the episode, Kim Ji-min scolded Kim Jun-ho for being late in depositing the household allowance. He admitted he'd forgotten there were no funds in their household transfer account; she tersely told him to move the money from his salary account.
He then asked for some understanding, explaining that last month he finally finished paying off the installments on his diamond ring. Kim Ji-min shot back, \"Didn't you buy that in January of last year?\"
MC Seo Jang-hoon, watching the exchange, quipped that viewers should sympathize with Kim Jun-ho since he reportedly lost two major programs after getting married, prompting laughter.
Kim Jun-ho later suggested pooling their finances again, but Kim Ji-min flatly refused, asking, \"Why are you dragging me through the mud?\"
During a visit from Kim Jong-min and Im Won-hee, Kim Jun-ho's spending habits came to light. He revealed he'd recently bought two supercars with his own money, startling the group—until it emerged the purchases were made inside a video game, not in real life. When it was revealed he had spent roughly 490,000 KRW (approximately $367.50) on the game, Kim Ji-min snapped, \"If my mother had seen that, she would have totally flipped out.\"
