[Sports Today reporter Jeong Ye-won] Sung Si-kyung publicly invited Park Hyo-shin to appear on The Seasons.

On March 27, KBS held a press conference at the KBS New Building in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, to introduce its new KBS2 variety series The Seasons — Sung Si-kyung's \"Earbud Boyfriend\" (hereafter The Seasons). The event brought together MC Sung Si-kyung, band leader Jung Dong-hwan, and producers Jung Mi-young and Son Ja-yeon.

The Seasons is a late-night music series that launched in 2023 with Jay Park and has continued with a relay of top Korean artists serving as hosts — including Choi Jung-hoon, AKMU, Lee Hyori, Zico, Lee Young-ji, Park Bo-gum and 10cm. For its ninth season, producers tapped Sung Si-kyung, widely regarded as South Korea's \"ballad emperor,\" to take the helm.

After the premiere, Sung said he felt like he had an army behind him with guests Lee So-ra and Yoon Do-hyun on the bill. He noted that few programs still showcase live performances, and added that he was grateful to work with the session musicians to create memorable stages.

He also said, I hope Park Hyo-shin will join us as a guest. I'm worried that press coverage might put pressure on him, but someone like Hyo-shin would be fine (laughs). He expressed hope that the show might even produce collaborations with idol acts.

Meanwhile, The Seasons — Sung Si-kyung's \"Earbud Boyfriend\" premieres at 10 p.m. on March 27.
