Actor Jeon So-min opened up about why she’s decided to forgo having children.
On April 11, the YouTube channel Ji-pyeonhan Sesang posted a video titled Long Time No See — We're Still the Same? | Seoksam Play Season 1, Ep. 1: Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province.
The episode follows Ji Seok-jin, Lee Sang-yeob, Jeon So-min and Lee Mi-joo as they explore Gwangju in Gyeonggi Province. The group toured landmarks including Namhansanseong Fortress and traded candid stories about everyday life.
While on the road, Ji Seok-jin asked, “Did you eat breakfast?” Lee Sang-yeob replied, “My wife made pumpkin porridge. She makes breakfast for me every morning,” revealing a doting side.

Jeon and Lee Mi-joo gushed that she was beautiful, and Ji Seok-jin joked that any child would be adorable.
Lee Sang-yeob said he prefers daughters, prompting Ji Seok-jin to ask Jeon So-min, “When you get married, will you have one son and one daughter?”
Jeon paused, then replied, “You’re mistaken about me. I’ll just be happy as a couple — we’ll stop the family line,” delivering a firm response.

She also offered a practical reason for her decision: “I’m 41 — when would I have a baby and raise them? It would be tough,” she sighed. The cast laughed but acknowledged her point.
Ji Seok-jin quipped that she should have a child who resembles her, and Jeon replied that it would be something to discuss with her future husband. The moment ended on a lighthearted note.
Earlier, in a conversation with close friend and actor Kim Ji-seok, Jeon questioned whether marriage is mandatory, asking, “Do we have to get married? Even if it fails, should we try? If I don’t do what everyone else does, will I feel a sense of loss?”—expressing doubt about the institution of marriage.
