Isangmin Reveals Secrets About His Wife: What Makes Her a ‘Perfect Match’?

[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] Lee Sang-min opened up about his wife's personality and appearance.

On April 7, SBS's Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 — You Are My Destiny welcomed new couple Kim Ji-young and Yoon Soo-young.

In the studio, Kim Ji-young sat down with Lee Sang-min. Lee introduced himself with a laugh: \"I'm newlywed Lee Sang-min, utterly smitten with my wife.\" The two have a prior connection — Lee served as an MC on Heart Signal, where Kim first gained attention.

Lee said he had only ever seen her on television and was meeting her face-to-face for the first time. \"Kim Ji-young was insanely popular back then,\" he recalled. \"She wore a short bob better than anyone in Korea, her reactions to the men were perfectly timed — everything about her seemed flawless.\" He also noted it was rare for three contestants to be chosen in the final selection.

Kim Ji-young admitted she was stunned as well. \"It was the first time I'd been chosen by multiple people, so it felt surreal,\" she said. Kim Sook asked, \"So how did you turn people down?\" and Kim Gu-ra quipped, \"Why couldn't you say no? How did you reject Yoon Jung-soo?\" drawing laughter from the room. Kim Sook added, \"That's different — it's not the same as getting unanimous votes.\"

While Kim Ji-young is just two months into her marriage, Lee Sang-min is marking his first wedding anniversary. He confessed he was unsure how to celebrate. \"We didn't have any ceremony for our wedding, so I don't know what to do for our first anniversary,\" he said, noting his wife is ten years his junior.

Kim Gu-ra recalled his own low-key wedding — no officiant, no monetary gifts accepted, and no reception — and joked that after attending other people's weddings he always feels a bit off.

When the panel called his wife \"the female Seo Jang-hoon,\" Lee responded by describing her as very delicate and sensitive. \"She's highly attuned to sounds and smells, and she doesn't let small things slide — she brings them up,\" he said. Kim Gu-ra remarked that Lee might have his hands full, and Lee Ji-hye observed with a laugh, \"She seems very tuned in to social cues.\"

Seo Jang-hoon added, \"It's not widely known, but Lee's wife is accomplished in many ways and very beautiful. People even say she's too good for him.\"

Lee surprised the studio by saying his wife's first impression reminded him of actress Kim Hee-sun.
