[EPN Enpinow reporter Go Nari] Ha Ji-won opened up about her thoughts on dating.
On March 9, Ha Ji-won joined Ju Ji-hoon and Nana on Shin Dong-yeop’s channel "Chanhan Hyung" for a candid conversation with hosts Shin Dong-yeop and Jung Ho-chul about relationships and age.
During the episode, Ju Ji-hoon referenced the recent "오지콤" trend, noting that self-deprecating lines such as "What’s so great about a guy like me?" and "Ugh, you’d date someone my age?" can actually heighten the appeal of middle-aged men.
Shin Dong-yeop asked Ha Ji-won how she would react if a man 15 years her junior expressed serious interest. He then teased a scenario — "I’m coming to your place this weekend; tell your mom to go on a trip" — which drew laughter, and he pressed on whether she’d actually consider dating someone 15 years younger.
Jung Ho-chul followed up, asking how she’d feel about a younger suitor suddenly appearing. Ha Ji-won answered plainly, "Age doesn’t matter. Mental age is what counts."
Nana argued that a big age gap can make it hard to find common ground. Ju Ji-hoon responded, "If a lack of shared interests is a burden, date someone your own age. If age isn’t an issue, then a relationship is still possible."
Meanwhile, in the drama Climax, Ha Ji-won plays the wife of Ju Ji-hoon’s character — who is described as a top actor facing box-office setbacks and an ambitious prosecutor. Climax premieres on ENA at 10:00 p.m. on March 16 and will also be available on Genie TV and Disney+.
