[Sports Seoul | By Bae Woo-geun] On the 13th, the YouTube channel "How Are You?!?" posted a video titled "The Day I Married as Lee Ji-seon, Not Shinji of Koyote."
The clip shows scenes from the wedding of Shinji and singer Munwon, held on the 2nd. Ailee and Baek Ji-young performed celebratory songs. Ailee told the couple, "I'm so nervous, but I'll sing this with all my heart for you," and covered her face as tears welled up while she sang.
Baek Ji-young, who followed her on stage, also couldn’t hold back her emotions.
Baek said, "Since my debut, Ji-seon and I have been very close. Looking back now and seeing Sangmun and Ji-seon makes me feel like she’s an older sister to me."
She chose Sung Si-kyung's "Two People" for the wedding song. Baek broke into tears on the first line, stopped the performance and said, "I'll sing that again."
After collecting herself, she added, "There was a time I wondered whether Ji-seon and I would ever get married. But I believe she will be a wise, loving wife and a devoted mother."
Shinji wiped her eyes as Baek Ji-young cried. Emcee Boom described their bond as that of the closest older sister — almost a life partner.
Shinji married Munwon, a singer seven years her junior, on the 2nd.
