The March 18 episode of SBS Plus and ENA’s reality series I’m SOLO turns up the heat on a delicate three-way triangle between Youngsoo, Sunja and Oksun — and lifts the curtain on the Super Date Pass mission held a day before the final selections.
On Day 4’s simultaneous choice, Youngsoo picked Oksun, just as he had signaled to Sunja. Sunja, left out, returned to the dorm alone and visibly dejected, while Oksun spent more than two hours talking one-on-one with Youngsoo. Later, when Oksun re-entered the dorm, Sunja rose and moved away to avoid her. The next morning, when Youngsoo dropped by the women’s dorm with a joke, Sunja made her hurt clear, saying, “I already have a bruise on my heart, so I’m fine.” When Oksun appeared again, Sunja went upstairs and confided to Yeong-suk that it felt really uncomfortable with Youngsoo and Oksun downstairs.

After Sunja left, Youngsoo and Oksun sat down for another private conversation. Youngsoo told Oksun that if he wins the Super Date Pass, he plans to use it on Sunja — he wants a one-on-one to sort out his feelings. Oksun responded calmly that she’ll try to put some of her feelings aside and hopes he takes the time to think before making his final choice. Watching them, MC Defconn quipped that Youngsoo is playing a very sophisticated game.
Meanwhile, Sunja has been venting to the other single women about Youngsoo’s behavior, admitting she’s jealous. She avoids Oksun and sighs whenever they cross paths. Noticing this, Oksun eventually pulls Youngsoo aside for a private talk. As the season moves into the Super Date Pass mission, the cast faces its first challenge — a tug-of-war that produces an unexpected winner. That result leads to a surprise choice that leaves the three MCs Defconn, Lee Yi-kyung and Song Ha-na stunned. With emotions in flux the day before final selections, viewers are watching to see how Season 30’s romantic lines will shift.
I’m SOLO airs March 18 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
