(The CEN News / Reporter Lee Seung-min) Chef Jeong Ho-young, who finished in the TOP4 on Black & White Chef 2, steps in as a kind of relief pitcher for former major leaguer Kim Byung-hyun.
During a recent taping, Kim surprised the studio by revealing a personal pledge he's kept for 16 years. "I quit drinking after my first daughter was born," he said, confirming that he has remained sober ever since.
He added, "I'll stay sober until my daughter turns 20," a declaration of devotion that drew admiration from the room.
But when host Lee Hyun-i posed an extreme dilemma—"Drink again" vs. "never start another business"—Kim was unable to answer immediately. His wide-eyed reaction sent the studio into laughter, and viewers are left wondering which choice the serial entrepreneur will make.
Meanwhile, Jeong Ho-young drew attention when he dropped by Kim Byung-hyun's sausage shop.
Jeong spent some time trying to find the shop. "I can't see the sign. Where is it?" he wondered, prompting the hosts to react, "What is that?" and to scold Kim for still not having a proper storefront sign.
After some detours, Jeong arrived and showed his support by bringing a thoughtful gift for Kim.
For his close friend, Jeong rolled up his sleeves and worked as a one-day staffer. "I want this place to stop failing, so I'll help," he said, pitching in from the kitchen to the dining area.
He reportedly proved his worth as a TOP4 chef by sharing a signature recipe to help boost sales and by passing along practical tips for dealing with customers.
Viewers are eager to learn what the special gift and the blockbuster recipe turn out to be.
Jeong Ho-young's special solution for serial entrepreneur Kim Byung-hyun airs on SBS's Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 on Tuesday the 24th at 10:40 p.m. KST.
