[Sports Seoul | Reporter Seon-woo Jo] Air Premia has upgraded its in-flight entertainment system (IFE) to provide continuous flight information, a move designed to improve passenger comfort as demand for long-haul travel rises over the holidays.

Through the IFE’s MyJourney feature, the airline presents a chronological rundown of key services — estimated arrival and remaining flight time, guidance for completing immigration forms, meal service timing, and onboard duty-free sales. Air Premia says the tool helps reduce information gaps and uncertainty on long flights.

Passenger surveys show strong satisfaction with the feature; travelers highlighted the ability to check service schedules midflight as a major convenience.

The carrier has also expanded entertainment options. In addition to films, dramas, variety shows, music videos and children’s programming, Air Premia recently added 5 documentaries under the concept “Knowledge and Inspiration Encountered in Flight.” The IFE also displays duty-free product details, current promotions and paid-service menus.

Air Premia has pursued other cabin improvements on select aircraft, including adjustments to seat pitch and replacing carpets with digitally printed designs.

An Air Premia spokesperson said, “We strengthened services so customers planning long-haul holiday travel can enjoy a more comfortable, predictable flight. We will continue improving in-flight content and information delivery.” blessoo@sportsseoul.com
