[JoyNews24 reporter Kim Yang-su] Actor Chu Young-woo has commented on an injury to his left eye.
On the afternoon of May 8, Chu took the stage at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul, to present the first broadcast rookie awards at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards, presented by Gucci. He appeared wearing an eye patch over his left eye, prompting concern from attendees.
His agency, J-Wide Company, said he suffered a minor bruise around his eye while exercising but is otherwise in good health. The agency added that his commitments will proceed as long as they do not place undue strain on him.
Meanwhile, Chu will return to ENA's Love Doctor alongside Kim So-hyun. The series follows Min-jae, a doctoral student who lost a leg to illness despite a background as a high school swimmer, and Yujin, a master's student who drifted after losing her career path before finding a new direction. Their spicy, bitter and sweet romance blossoms in a robotics lab.
