[MyDaily = Reporter Kim Jong-guk] Inter Milan secured the Serie A title with games to spare.
On the morning of May 4 (Korean time) at San Siro in Milan, Inter defeated Parma 2–0 in the 35th round of the 2025–26 Serie A season. The victory moved Inter to 26 wins, 4 draws and 5 losses (82 points), stretching their lead over second-place Napoli (70 points) to 12 points. That margin made the title unassailable regardless of the remaining fixtures. It’s Inter’s first Scudetto in two seasons, their first since 2023–24. Napoli—the reigning champions and the former club of Kim Min-jae—failed to secure back-to-back titles.
Inter started with Thuram and Esposito up front, while Sučić, Zieliński and Barella anchored the midfield. Dimarco and Dumfries operated on the wings, with Bastoni, Akanji and Visek in defense. Sommer guarded the goal.
In first-half stoppage time, Thuram broke the deadlock. He followed up on Piotr Zieliński’s assist and fired a right-footed shot from inside the penalty area to beat Parma’s goalkeeper.
Inter opened the second half by replacing Esposito with Boni, then reinforced the attack in the 67th minute by bringing on Lautaro Martínez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan for Thuram and Zieliński. The result was sealed in the 80th minute when Mkhitaryan added a second goal, slotting a left-footed finish from close range after a setup from Lautaro. The comprehensive win over Parma confirmed Inter’s early Serie A title and delivered the club’s 21st league championship.
