[Herald Economy (Gyeongsan) — Reporter Kim Byung-jin] On the afternoon of the 17th, the Gyeongsan Youth Center held a launch ceremony for the first 2026 cohort of its Social Media Supporters in the open studio on the center’s first floor.Organizers presented appointment certificates, introduced the center and its programs, and conducted networking sessions. The event marks the start of a youth-driven promotional channel that will communicate policies from young people’s perspectives.
The Social Media Supporters team comprises 10 members from diverse backgrounds, including university students, working professionals, and foreign residents.
They will produce content related to youth policy and promote it across multiple online platforms.
A Gyeongsan city official said, “We expect the Social Media Supporters to directly share information about youth policies and produce high-quality, trend-conscious content that will enable more effective outreach.”
Since opening in March, the Gyeongsan Youth Center has offered AI content-production training, emotional recovery programs, cooking classes, capacity-building workshops, and space-rental services. The center plans to continue expanding tailored programs, including a youth policy participation group, foreign youth communication initiatives, and local exploration activities.
The two-story center features an open studio, a cafeteria, meeting rooms, counseling rooms, shared workspaces, and study rooms—a multi-purpose complex designed for young people.
