[MyDaily = Reporter Noh Chan-hyuk] Jeonbuk Hyundai ended a four-game winless run with a dramatic 3-2 victory over the Pohang Steelers.
On April 26 at 2 p.m. at Jeonju World Cup Stadium, Jeonbuk secured the win in Round 10 of the 2026 Hana Bank K League 1.
Jeonbuk opened the scoring in the 26th minute when Kim Young-bin powered home a header from a corner. In the 40th minute, Kim Ha-jun was penalized for a foul and Lee Ho-jae converted the resulting penalty to level the match. Four minutes later, Kim Ha-jun redeemed himself by finishing a Lee Seung-woo pass to restore Jeonbuk's lead.
Twenty-one minutes into the second half, Kim Ha-jun was again involved in a penalty incident, and Lee Ho-jae made no mistake from the spot to make it 2-2. In the fifth minute of stoppage time, Kang Sang-yoon delivered a last-gasp winner to claim all three points for Jeonbuk.
The result lifted Jeonbuk to third place with 15 points. Pohang remain ninth with 12 points (3 wins, 3 draws, 4 losses).
Elsewhere on the same day, Daejeon Hana Citizen beat Ulsan HD 4-1 in a Round 10 away fixture at Ulsan Munsu Stadium. The win moved Daejeon up to seventh with 12 points (3W, 3D, 4L), while second-place Ulsan suffered their third loss of the campaign.
Daejeon struck first in the 16th minute through Rubickson, and Jung Jae-hee extended the lead in the 42nd. Diogo made it 3-0 in the second minute of first-half stoppage, leaving Daejeon comfortably ahead at the break.
Seven minutes into the second half, Masa added a fourth to all but seal the result. Ulsan’s Lee Dong-gyeong pulled one back in the 89th minute, but Daejeon held on for a convincing three-goal victory.
FC Anyang cruised to a 5-2 victory over Gwangju FC in Round 10 at Gwangju World Cup Stadium, moving up to fourth with 14 points (3W, 5D, 2L). Gwangju slid to the bottom of the table after a sixth straight defeat.
Anyang got on the board in the 19th minute via Elcurano. Kim Jeong-hyun added a second in the 40th, and Thomas wrapped up a dominant first half with a goal in the third minute of stoppage to make it 3-0.
Gwangju fought back with two early second-half goals from Mun Min-seo (9', 13'), but Anyang regained control when Kim Woon scored late in the second half. Ailton’s strike in the sixth minute of stoppage time capped the 5-2 win.
In K League 2 action, Yongin FC beat Gimhae FC 2008 4-1 in Round 9 at Yongin Mir Stadium, with Seok Hyun-joon netting a brace. Yongin recorded the club’s first-ever victory and climbed to 15th, while Gimhae remain bottom with two draws and six losses.
Suwon FC played to a 1-1 draw with Gimpo FC at home, and the Chungcheong derby between Chungbuk Cheongju and Chungnam Asan ended in a goalless 0-0 draw.
