Seongnam FC said the event is part of its \"Seongnam One Team\" initiative, which aims to spotlight athletes who represent the city across all sports. By assembling top national athletes to showcase Seongnam's energy, the club expects fans attending the Round 4 home match to experience both a memorable spectacle and a source of civic pride.
The club will also run a \"Wear the Seongnam FC jersey and cheer together\" campaign on match day, encouraging supporters to arrive in club colors to boost the players' morale. The goal is to create a sea of black at Tancheon, maximize home-field unity and give the team a powerful lift.
A club official said Choi, who has raised Seongnam's profile, readily agreed to take part in the ceremonial kickoff to support Seongnam FC's push for a home victory. He urged both players and fans to put on the club jersey and come together to build Seongnam's dynamic cheering culture.
