Jung-gu in Daejeon signed a partnership agreement with the local influencer group 'Daejeon Crew' on the 29th to strengthen promotion of district initiatives.
The signing was attended by Jung-gu District Mayor Kim Je-seon and five influencer teams from Daejeon Crew: Park Se-woong (Se-woong Hyung), Lee Seong-eun (Daejeon Native), Kim Bo-mi (Bogumi), Gil Rye-won·Lee Min-woo (Nolmeok Daejeon), and Kim Dae-won (KimDaejeon).
Daejeon Crew will produce and distribute video content on their social media channels showcasing the district’s key policies, local festivals, popular restaurants, and attractions, each in their own distinctive style.
The district expects the influencers to use their followings to naturally raise awareness of district initiatives and strengthen communication with millennials and Gen Z. Officials also anticipate that creating content closely tied to traditional markets and neighborhood businesses will help revitalize the local economy.
A Jung-gu official said, "We are reassured that Daejeon Crew—who engage with tens of thousands of followers and have uncovered the area’s hidden charms—has become Jung-gu’s promotional partner," adding, "We hope this partnership goes beyond a formal agreement and that your bright ideas will serve as a bridge to bring Jung-gu’s new developments and positive news deeply into residents’ everyday lives."
