The New Bentayga Speed debuts in Korea
650-hp V8 delivers sports-car performance
A luxury SUV engineered for high performance
Bentley Motors Korea has officially launched the New Bentayga Speed in South Korea, and the announcement has stirred strong interest among local automotive enthusiasts.
Sitting at the top of Bentayga’s lineup and inspired by Bentley’s motorsport pedigree, the Speed delivers the most potent performance of any production Bentley to date.
Potent driving performance from the V8
The New Bentayga Speed is powered by Bentley’s next-generation 4.0L twin-turbo V8 — the company’s most powerful V8 yet. The engine produces 650 hp and 86.7 kg·m of torque (about 850 Nm / 627 lb·ft), giving the large SUV acceleration and on-road character more commonly associated with sports cars.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.6 seconds (0–62 mph), shaving time off the previous W12-equipped model (3.9 seconds) and the earlier Bentayga V8 S (4.5 seconds).
The car’s standard top speed is 301 km/h (187 mph). Specifying Bentley’s first-ever 23-inch wheels with carbon-ceramic brakes raises the top speed to 310 km/h (193 mph).
Bentley hones the driving experience
Bentley engineered the New Bentayga Speed around driver enjoyment. It comes standard with three drive modes — Comfort, Bentley, and Sport — and the Sport setting now offers a broader range of tuning adjustments than before.
Selecting the 23-inch wheel and carbon-ceramic brake option enables Dynamic ESC in Sport mode; the ESC Dynamic program also adds a launch-control function.
The car also features electric all-wheel steering, which steers the rear wheels opposite the front at low speeds to sharpen agility and reduce turning radius for everyday driving.
Those elements combine to give the New Bentayga Speed surprisingly engaging dynamics for an SUV, maximizing driver enjoyment without compromising Bentley-level refinement.
A refined, performance-focused interior
Inside, the Speed comes with a model-specific driver information display as standard. Bentley also adds Speed badging across the passenger dash, treadplates, and seat tops to reinforce the car’s identity.
Speed-exclusive quilting on the seats and door inner panels further distinguishes the cabin from other Bentayga variants.
The New Bentayga Speed’s official domestic starting price is 333,000,000 KRW including VAT (approximately 249,750 USD), with the final price dependent on options. The market will now determine how this flagship luxury SUV is received in Korea.
