HYBE-led shipping strategy combining sea and air to cut costs; proactive ocean transport of large exhibits ensures schedule adherence; air freight for precision exhibits expedites logistics

Global exhibition logistics specialist Expo Line is cutting costs and keeping the 2026 Beijing International Motor Show on schedule by deploying a sea-and-air, HYBE-led shipping strategy.
Expo Line said on April 9 that it has begun managing exhibition logistics for the '2026 Beijing International Motor Show,' which runs from the 24th through the 3rd of next month at the China International Exhibition Center (CIEC) in Beijing.
Auto China ranks among the world’s top three motor shows, drawing major global automakers and key suppliers, and presenting a very large and complex logistics challenge.
With rising fuel surcharges pushing up transportation costs, Expo Line drew on more than 20 years of exhibition logistics experience to apply a cost-efficient 'HYBE-led shipping strategy,' earning attention across the industry.
Expo Line proactively shipped large exhibits and rigging materials in ocean containers to secure lead time and cost savings.
The company categorized cargo whose schedules could be locked in through prior coordination with manufacturers as the first wave; that shipment has already arrived in Beijing and cleared customs.
The second and third waves—primarily precision exhibits with tight production timetables—are being moved quickly by air to meet display deadlines.
An Expo Line spokesperson said, “Large motor shows like Auto China demand specialized expertise because they involve oversized cargo and complex local customs procedures. After clearing customs on the first wave, we will complete the remaining air shipments reliably, leveraging our extensive experience managing global exhibitions.”
Through this operation, Expo Line is strengthening its position in the global exhibition and special-cargo logistics market.
The company recently demonstrated that expertise by successfully handling logistics for Shanghai Auto China 2025 and the Kenya ICoNE 2026 KRW (about 1 USD) nuclear exhibition projects.
