[Sports Today reporter Kim Tae-hyung] Actor Lee Jang-woo's agency issued a response to allegations that Hosokchon has unpaid supplier invoices.

On the 17th, Hunus Entertainment released an official statement saying Lee Jang-woo is a shareholder in and participates in operating Hosokchon. The agency said Hosokchon paid the full delivery amount to its contracted supplier, Mujin Co., Ltd., and the dispute arose when Mujin failed to forward payment to Company A.

The agency added that Company A has no direct contract with Hosokchon or with Lee Jang-woo, so reports implying Lee failed to make payments are inaccurate. Claims that \"Mujin owned Hosokchon\" are also false — Mujin never held shares in Hosokchon. Hunus emphasized that Lee Jang-woo has no ties to Mujin.

Hunus acknowledged a degree of moral responsibility for not adequately monitoring whether the intermediary company fulfilled its obligations under this transaction structure.

Addressing reports that the supplier attempted to contact them via social media, the agency explained Lee's account receives dozens of messages daily and that messages from accounts he does not follow are routed to a separate \"message request\" folder, making immediate review difficult. While those messages were not reviewed promptly, Hunus said it did not intentionally avoid or ignore them.

Finally, the agency said it regrets any misunderstandings caused by inaccurate reporting and will cooperate fully to help resolve the matter amicably.

Below is Hunus Entertainment's full statement.

Hello, this is Hunus Entertainment.

We are issuing this statement regarding recent reports about actor Lee Jang-woo and the \"Hosokchon unpaid balance\" controversy.

Actor Lee Jang-woo is a shareholder in and participates in operating Hosokchon. Hosokchon paid the full delivery amount to its contracted supplier, Mujin Co., Ltd., and the issue occurred when Mujin failed to pay Company A.

In other words, Company A has no direct contractual relationship with Hosokchon or with actor Lee Jang-woo, and reports implying that Lee Jang-woo did not pay the fees are not true. Reports claiming \"Mujin owned Hosokchon\" are also false — Mujin has never owned shares in Hosokchon. Actor Lee Jang-woo has no relationship with Mujin.

That said, we feel a moral responsibility for not sufficiently monitoring whether the intermediary company fulfilled its obligations under this transaction structure.

Regarding the supplier's attempts to contact us via social media, Lee Jang-woo's account receives dozens of messages a day. Messages from accounts he does not follow are categorized into a separate \"message request\" folder, which makes immediate checking difficult. As a result, it is true that those messages were not reviewed promptly, but we make clear that we did not intentionally avoid or ignore them.

For reference, we have attached verifiable documentation showing that Hosokchon paid Mujin.

We regret the misunderstandings caused by inaccurate reports and will provide the necessary cooperation to ensure the matter is resolved smoothly.

Thank you.
