[MyDaily = Reporter Shim Jae-hee] Lee Jung-hoo, 28, known as the \"Grandson of the Wind,\" has hit a rough patch with the San Francisco Giants, collecting just one hit in his last five games. The skid has coincided with a team slide: the Giants are 1-8 over their last nine games and sit last in the NL West.
Over those five games Lee is 1-for-19 with one RBI, one run and one walk. After a strong start to the season, his timing has slipped. He was 2-for-4 in the May 1 doubleheader’s second game at the Philadelphia Phillies and went 1-for-3 on May 2 at the Tampa Bay Rays, but his production has dropped off since then.
Lee went 0-for-4 on May 3 at Tampa Bay and 0-for-3 with a walk on May 4. At home versus the San Diego Padres from May 5–7, he went 0-for-4 on the 5th, 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run on the 6th, and 0-for-4 on the 7th.

San Francisco has won just once in its last nine games. After a six-game losing streak they snapped a defeat but quickly slid back into another stretch of losses. The Giants beat the Miami Marlins 6-2 on April 26 and 6-3 the following day, but since then they’ve gone 1-8.
They lost 0-7 at the Philadelphia Phillies on April 29 and dropped both games of the May 1 doubleheader in Philadelphia. The Giants were swept in Tampa Bay from May 2–4 and then returned home to split a three-game set with the San Diego Padres, taking one loss in the series — their third straight losing series.
