[Hanoi, Vietnam — Reporter Park Sang-jin] Hanwha Life Esports earned a 2-1 series victory on their Vietnam road trip.
In Game 2 of Kiwoom DRX’s home-front match in the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) on May 10 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center in Hanoi, DRX on the blue side drafted Anivia, Lee Sin, Annie, Lucian and Nami. Hanwha Life Esports, on the red side, went with Rumble, Vi, Ahri, Ashe and Seraphine.
Unlike the previous game, Hanwha seized control of early skirmishes and built a 2,000-gold lead by the 10-minute mark. They pushed that advantage to roughly 4,000 gold by 5 minutes and kept the match under control.
By 17 minutes Hanwha continued piling up kills, and by 20 minutes their lead topped 10,000 gold. After stacking three dragons, they secured the Baron buff at 22 minutes and looked poised to close the game. Hanwha destroyed the enemy Nexus at 25 minutes to even the series.
In the deciding game, Hanwha Life Esports on blue selected Jax, Pantheon, Sylas, Yunara and Lulu, while Kiwoom DRX on red picked K’Sante, Nocturne, Aurora, Varus and Poppy.
Kiwoom claimed the first drake, but Hanwha answered with a bottom-lane skirmish to even things up. Hanwha’s subsequent bottom kills broke lane balance, and consecutive skirmishes there began to tilt the match in their favor. Kiwoom fought back with a series of top-lane kills to stay in contention.
At the Rift Herald fight, Hanwha grabbed two kills and quickly regained control, then took the first mid turret to accelerate the pace. Kiwoom swung momentum by taking consecutive kills on Zeus and Zeka, and in the 21-minute clash they secured five kills to close the gap.
Hanwha responded in the 22-minute engagement with a 3-for-2 exchange and ripped down Kiwoom’s mid inhibitor turret. In the follow-up fight Hanwha recorded an ace and closed out the match, sealing the series 2-1.
