From Nov. 16 through April 3, a total of 90 games were played. Total attendance reached 112,521, a 13.2% increase from last season's 99,402. Average attendance also rose by 13.2%. Attendance surpassed 100,000 for the regular season for the first time since the 2019–2020 season, which used a six-round format. Cumulative weekend attendance, expanded this season, jumped 43.1% year over year, highlighting a clear trend of fans concentrating their arena visits on weekends.
Consistent broadcasts on four or more channels this season—including KBS N Sports, MBC Sports+, SPOTV and ENA SPORTS—helped TV ratings climb sharply. The season's average combined rating was 0.298% (Nielsen Korea), a 54.4% increase from last season's 0.193%. Excluding KBS1 terrestrial broadcasts, the highest combined rating came from the Jan. 18 game between BNK Sum and Shinhan Bank, which posted 0.586%. Shinhan Bank prevailed 85–79 after a double-overtime classic.
New-media metrics improved as well. All games streamed live this season on Naver Sports, SOOP, Daum Sports and the WKBL app. SOOP's average views surged 251.7% from last season, while Daum Sports' average views rose 53.7%.
The playoffs, played as best-of-five series, begin with Game 1 between the KB Stars and Woori Bank at Cheongju Gymnasium on the 8th and will run through the 17th at the latest. The finals will also be a best-of-five series and are scheduled from the 22nd through the 30th at the latest.
