The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) has announced it's accepting bids for the operational management of the 2026 KBO DREAM CUP Independent Baseball Tournament.

Now in its fourth year, the KBO DREAM CUP serves as a platform for independent baseball players who haven't yet made it to the pro leagues. This tournament offers these athletes a second chance to showcase their skills, reignite their passion, and potentially catch the eye of professional scouts.

The winning bidder will be responsible for all aspects of the tournament, including game operations, equipment production, marketing, and broadcast coordination. Interested parties can find more detailed information on the Korean Public Procurement Service's website, known as Nara Market.

This initiative is funded by a grant from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Companies looking to throw their hat in the ring should prepare their proposals based on the official bid notice posted on Nara Market. Completed proposals, along with all necessary documentation, must be hand-delivered to the KBO Development Team by 3 p.m. on April 17. The KBO emphasizes that submissions via mail, email, or fax will not be accepted.
