Bucheon City announced on March 12 that, ahead of the 2026 Bucheon Festa — Spring Flower Trip (B-festa) — it will run a "Bucheon Eats Discount Festa" for users who add the city's KakaoTalk channel.
The promotion runs March 13 through April 30. City-designated standout restaurants in the Bucheon Eats program will take part voluntarily and offer discounts. Officials say the effort is especially meaningful because participating businesses are covering the discounts themselves, without separate municipal funding.
A total of 18 establishments are joining: Gyeongin-ro 570 Sutbul-gui (Gyeongin-ro 570 Charcoal Grill), Nari's Kitchen, Daon, Myeongga Wang Salt-Gui, Bread Recipe, Sigol-ae (Sigol-ae), Cheongdam Samgyetang & Neungi Baeksuk, Cheonghakjae, Brunchwich, Songdo Charcoal-Grilled Eel Specialty, Eperi, Lee Sun-hwa Myeongtae Village, Pasta Season, Bunder Coffee Bar, Seoan Memiljip, Cheonrihyang Lamb Skewer Grill, Teolbo Crab & Agu, and Jakdong Duck Bulgogi.
The city expects the promotion will help boost the local economy by introducing visitors who come for the spring flower festival to neighborhood restaurants and encouraging them to support local businesses.
Visitors can get discount coupons by searching for "Bucheon City" in KakaoTalk's search bar and adding the channel. Present the coupon to a participating restaurant before ordering to receive a 5–10% discount, depending on the establishment. Existing subscribers to the Bucheon Alimi service can also use the offer.
Jeong Su-young, head of Bucheon City's Food Hygiene Division, thanked the Bucheon Eats restaurants for taking part voluntarily despite difficult conditions and said she hopes residents and visitors will enjoy even more delightful outings in spring-blooming Bucheon by using the discount coupons.
