Hotels Ramp Up Lounge and Bar Promotions to Woo White Day Guests
With White Day approaching, hotels are rolling out limited-time desserts and romantic packages to attract celebratory guests. From cakes and chocolates to champagne sets, romantic dinners, and classical concerts, properties are doubling down on experience-driven offerings to capture special-occasion demand.
On March 13, Paradise City and Paradise Hotel Busan unveiled their White Day seasonal desserts and gift sets. Both introduced a White Day Heart Cake, a pristine white heart-shaped design meant to symbolize love.
The cake pairs a silky white chocolate mousse with a satisfying crisp chocolate texture. For couples who want champagne with dessert, there’s a White Heart Cake & Champagne Set. Paradise Hotel Busan is also selling a White Day Hamper filled with chocolates, a teddy bear, sparkling wine, and fresh flowers.
At the Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Myeongdong, the upscale bakery cafe THE 22 Namdaemun Bakery is serving a spring-limited Milky Strawberry Cake. They use vanilla bean–infused dairy whipped cream and heaps of fresh strawberries for a rich yet bright flavor. Guests who book through Naver can snag a discount.
Signiel Busan will host a White Day Serenade in its hotel lounge, featuring flute and harp performances on White Day itself.
The hotel is also offering a Starlight Dinner with views of Haeundae’s night skyline. The multi-course menu includes a burrata salad, lobster aglio e olio, and steak, and comes with a mini cake and champagne to set a romantic tone. The hotel bakery, Pastry Salon, will also sell a seasonal cake made with white chocolate mousse and raspberries.
JW Marriott Hotel Seoul likewise launched White Day–themed desserts and cocktails. On the second floor, the Pâtisserie unveiled a Key to Your Heart Cake reimagined in an all-white concept, plus Key to Your Heart chocolates made with Valrhona chocolate.
On the seventh floor, Mobo Bar is pouring special White Day cocktails—the White Bouquet and Mango Petal—to help guests celebrate in style.
