Seoul-based SK Networks is rolling out a "growing together" corporate culture built on open dialogue between company leaders and staff, aiming to strengthen organizational cohesion. Through hands-on programs like carnation-candle workshops and a monthly "Connect Time," the company says it will energize the workforce by genuinely bringing frontline feedback into management decisions.
On April 29, SK Networks said employees have responded enthusiastically to a range of experiential programs designed to add vitality to everyday work life and foster a culture of collaboration.
A spokesperson said these seasonal, internally timed programs give employees shared opportunities to participate and connect, reinforcing SK Networks' commitment to growing together.
The spokesperson added, "Communication between company leadership and staff is central to strengthening execution based on a shared sense of purpose."
"As an AI-focused holding company, we are committed to building a workplace culture that grows with our employees through diverse and sincere communication programs that bolster execution and our growth foundation," the spokesperson said.
On April 28, ahead of Family Month and Parents' Day, SK Networks hosted a make-a-carnation-candle event where employees crafted special gifts for their parents and shared warm memories.
During the recent Lunar New Year holiday, the company offered an icing-cookie class that let employees decorate cookies and enjoy a mix of creativity and relaxation.
The company also runs spring programs to support work–life balance, including a Cheonggyecheon running class and a personal tea-blending workshop.
These initiatives are designed to promote communication and collaboration among employees and to strengthen workplace culture.
One participant in the icing-cookie class said, "It was a valuable chance to set aside work stress and recharge creative energy. I hope the company continues to hold events like this so employees can open up and connect."
SK Networks also observes SKMS Day on the third Friday of every month.
On SKMS Day, executives — including the CEO — share the company's status and strategic direction. "Connect Time" brings employees together through team introductions, presentations on AI and DT best practices, an SKMS quiz competition, and guest lectures.
The program runs both online and in person, and it has become a forum for sharing company policy and incorporating employee feedback into management decisions, helping to shape corporate culture.
This year the company has expanded content with AX best-practice presentations and practical on-the-job experience sharing, driving higher employee interest and participation.
SK Networks says it will continue to hold dialogue sessions where leaders and employees share management philosophy and business goals and engage directly with frontline staff to build a culture that strengthens execution.
