By Park Seo-hyun, Herald Muse Taeyang unveiled new teaser material.The Black Label posted a visual film and teaser photos for Taeyang’s fourth studio album, QUINTESSENCE, on its official social channels on May 6.
The roughly 40-second film distills Taeyang’s singular aesthetic: bold, deceptively simple color palettes paired with intentionally low-resolution imagery. That distinctive visual language amplifies his persona and creates an unmistakable mood.
QUINTESSENCE is Taeyang’s first full-length album in about nine years since WHITE NIGHT, released in August 2017. The album is set to be released at 6 p.m. on May 18.
