[SPOTV News—Reporter Kim Won-gyeom] Singer Jae Sera is set to showcase deep, controlled vocals on her upcoming medium-tempo single.
The new song, "I'll Wait Here," arrives at noon on the 16th. A medium-tempo minor-key ballad, it lays bare the full measure of her emotional range. The track accepts the reality of parting while candidly expressing the vague longing and unforgettable feelings that linger, allowing Jae Sera's flawless vocal delivery to shine through.
The lyrics revive memories of love with lines like, "When I walk and suddenly smell your scent / our figures appear in suspended time," and unfold into a story of waiting: "I'll wait here until I'm out of breath / for the one person who taught me how to love."
Through restrained phrasing and precise control of dynamics, Jae Sera avoids dwelling in sorrow. Instead she rekindles the steady warmth of enduring love, driving the song forward with vitality while maintaining her characteristic emotional tone.
The track was completed by hit-producing team Urbane Music, known for their work with artists such as So Hyang, Kim Na-young, Ahn Da-eun, Cheeze, Song Ha-ye, Lee Chae-yeon and Jeon Yoo-jin. The team, credited with both commercial success and musical credibility, said they highlighted Jae Sera's distinctive charms and polished the arrangement to maximize detail and finish.
Since releasing the 2010 single "Lonely Night"—which branded her a promising new vocalist—Jae Sera has continued her career with numerous OST contributions and digital singles. She won MBC's King of Mask Singer and has delivered pristine performances on many stages, cementing her reputation as a consummate vocalist.
